Agriboard Green Building Systems™ now has a limited run of prototype compressed-straw wall panels available for purchase, offering builders and innovators an early chance to test this sustainable technology in real-world projects.​

These prototype panels are manufactured at Agriboard’s new mill in Marked Tree, Arkansas, where the company produces compressed straw panels as a green alternative to conventional framing and insulation. They are designed as structural wall panels that combine strength, energy efficiency, and sustainability in a single product.​
Panel specifications
Each prototype panel measures 4 feet by 8 feet and is 3.5 inches thick, making it a familiar size for builders who typically work with standard sheet goods. The panels weigh approximately 170 pounds each, so basic equipment or a small crew is recommended for safe handling and installation.​
Pricing and purchasing
Prototype panels are available for $128 per panel, offering an affordable way to experiment with advanced green building components compared with many specialty structural panels on the market. Because this is a prototype batch, quantities are limited and ideal for test structures, small buildings, workshops, or demonstration projects.​
Pickup and shipping
All prototype panels are currently located at Agriboard’s production facility in Marked Tree, Arkansas, a small northeast Arkansas community situated between Jonesboro and West Memphis. Customers can either pick up panels directly from the plant or arrange to have them shipped from Marked Tree to their site.​
